We welcome science fiction author Matthew Mather to the show this week.

Matthew started self-publishing a little over a year ago. He has two books available Cyberstorm and The Atopia Chronicles.

Cyberstorm has sold over 250,000 copies worldwide and has been licensed by several big publishers in foreign markets. He has also sold the film rights for that title. Atopia has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.

Matthew has two further books coming in 2014, including a sequel to The Atopia Chronicles.

Matthew has a couple of interesting blog posts up on his site that explain his views on self-publishing it and advice on how people should try. Given his success, I think they are both worth a read. The first is what he calls the third way of publishing. The second post is his Shakespeare System which we will talk to him about on the show.
