He started out in 2010 with the YA Fantasy “Powerless” series before following that up with the Paranormal Romance series “Inevitable.” After that, he moved over to YA Dystopian with the “Spencer Nye” series before co-founding the Kindle Fire Department blog and Booksends. Currently he’s running the book advertising site Booksends while penning the fantasy series “The Cumerian Unraveling.”He will talk about his switch from writing to running a book promotion site, how important it is for authors to advertise their books, what an author can do to increase their chances of getting picked up by ad sites, and other tips and tricks he’s learned along the way.

QUESTION: How do advertising sites like Kindle Fire Department and others that have the word ‘Kindle’ in it get around the trademarking rule for Amazon Associates thingie, where it says don’t include it in the domain/FB group. Are they just not putting it in the domain but getting around it by having a way different domain name to the actual name of the site?
