This week the Self-Publishing Roundtable welcomes fantasy author Lindsay Buroker to the show.
Lindsay published her first novel in 2011 and by late 2011 she’d published four novels and was able to transition into full time writing. To date she has published twenty books. (a combination of short stories, novellas, and novels)
We talked to Lindsay about how to build your audience, how to build your newsletter list and how to transition your audience from one series to another among many other topics.

Enjoyed the show a lot! Lindsay has a wealth of information (and inspiration). Since you guys talked about Gmail’s inbox policies relative to author newsletters, I found this post that talks more about it. Dragging a message into the primary tab doesn’t always work, and some folks think Google is actually paying attention to the number of links you use, whether you use images, and the kind of language you use, as well as whether your email is an RSS-to-email campaign or not.

Thanks for this podcast. Lyndsay is always interesting and informative. SPRT is quickly becoming my goto podcast for self-pub info and indie author inspiration.
I had to delete the live show post (with the 150+ comments) because there was some kind of error causing the audio feed not to head to iTunes. It was resolved when I created a new post. My apologies to everyone who made a comment or asked a question.
