That helped quite a bit – my experience with my first draft was interesting, but when I started the edit of that first draft, I discovered I rushed the beginning, and I need to rework the first couple thousand words. But I’ll get through it – I’m living a long-standing dream, and J’s been a big part of making it come true.
James intimidates me in the same way that Darren Wearmouth does. He really knows what he’s doing, and I don’t want to waste words with him.
Question for Jay. Does he feel like he needs an anchor in reality for his stories?

He impressed me with his candor and his generosity, and that presentation directly influenced my decision to finally write the book I’ve had in my head forever.
